# WGMD vs TCN

WGMD and TCN both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of WGMD's written reviews are positive against 62% of TCN's. TCN's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (monthly vs every 9 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for WGMD against 4.4 for TCN. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TCN has 171 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of WGMD's written reviews are positive against 62% of TCN's.

WGMD ships an update every 9 months, TCN monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
