# Internet Speed Check vs Speed Test !

The clearest difference is rating: Speed Test ! at 4.4 against Internet Speed Check's 2.0. Speed Test ! also leads on ratings volume (32 vs 4) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). Internet Speed Check's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Internet Speed Check sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Speed Test ! sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Speed Test ! holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Speed Test ! has 32 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 0% and 0% positive.

Internet Speed Check ships an update monthly, Speed Test ! fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
