# Big Battle 3D vs Alien Hunter 2D

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Alien Hunter 2D at 91% against Big Battle 3D's 18%. Alien Hunter 2D also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Big Battle 3D's advantage is ratings volume (38K vs 13) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Big Battle 3D sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Alien Hunter 2D sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Big Battle 3D holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Big Battle 3D has 38K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of Big Battle 3D's written reviews are positive against 91% of Alien Hunter 2D's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Big Battle 3D ships an update every 2 months, Alien Hunter 2D every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
