# A2 vs LiDe

The clearest difference is update cadence: LiDe at weekly against A2's every 24 months. LiDe also leads on review sentiment (82% vs 60%). A2's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

A2 holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of A2's written reviews are positive against 82% of LiDe's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

A2 ships an update every 24 months, LiDe weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and June 1, 2026 respectively.
