# A2 vs Cornelsen Lernen

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: A2 at none against Cornelsen Lernen's 10. A2 also leads on review sentiment (60% vs 41%) and ratings volume (3 vs 1). Cornelsen Lernen's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 24 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cornelsen Lernen sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. A2 asks for nothing beyond the download.

Cornelsen Lernen holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of A2's written reviews are positive against 41% of Cornelsen Lernen's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

A2 ships an update every 24 months, Cornelsen Lernen every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
