# Ciye vs MySwimScore

The clearest difference is rating: MySwimScore at 5.0 against Ciye's 4.5. Ciye's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (11 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MySwimScore holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ciye has 11 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ciye ships an update every 2 months, MySwimScore every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
