# GPS RPG Game vs Wizards Codex

The clearest difference is rating: GPS RPG Game at 4.8 against Wizards Codex's 4.0. GPS RPG Game also leads on ratings volume (1.9K vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). Wizards Codex's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 86%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GPS RPG Game sells 11 one-off in-app purchases and Wizards Codex sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GPS RPG Game holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GPS RPG Game has 1.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of GPS RPG Game's written reviews are positive against 100% of Wizards Codex's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GPS RPG Game ships an update weekly, Wizards Codex every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
