# iFormando vs Stix

The clearest difference is rating: Stix at 4.8 against iFormando's 3.0. Stix also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (93 vs 2). iFormando's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Stix holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stix has 93 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of iFormando's written reviews are positive against 11% of Stix's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iFormando ships an update every 2 weeks, Stix every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
