# Notan vs Graded

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Graded at none against Notan's 1. Graded also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Notan's advantage is ratings volume (56 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notan sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Graded asks for nothing beyond the download.

Graded holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notan has 56 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Notan ships an update every 2 weeks, Graded every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
