# Notan vs NotenTracker

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: NotenTracker at none against Notan's 1. NotenTracker also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Notan's advantage is ratings volume (56 vs 1) and review sentiment (93% vs 71%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notan sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. NotenTracker asks for nothing beyond the download.

NotenTracker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notan has 56 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 93% of Notan's written reviews are positive against 71% of NotenTracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Notan ships an update every 2 weeks, NotenTracker every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
