# My Five Year vs Progress

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: My Five Year at none against Progress's 3. My Five Year also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Progress's advantage is ratings volume (900 vs 1). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Progress sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. My Five Year asks for nothing beyond the download.

My Five Year holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Progress has 900 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
