# Instant Connect ™ vs CookFlow

The clearest difference is rating: CookFlow at 5.0 against Instant Connect ™'s 4.6. CookFlow also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). Instant Connect ™'s advantage is ratings volume (11K vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CookFlow holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Instant Connect ™ has 11K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Instant Connect ™ ships an update fortnightly, CookFlow every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
