# SD vs Bandwarden

The clearest difference is price: SD at Free against Bandwarden's $2.99. SD also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). Bandwarden's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

SD is free to download; Bandwarden costs $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SD ships an update every 2 months, Bandwarden every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
