# NaturalReader vs Listen To Notes

The clearest difference is rating: Listen To Notes at 5.0 against NaturalReader's 4.6. Listen To Notes also leads on update cadence (every 11 days vs every 3 weeks). NaturalReader's advantage is ratings volume (9.2K vs 1) and chart position (#133 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NaturalReader sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Listen To Notes sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Listen To Notes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NaturalReader has 9.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

NaturalReader ships an update every 3 weeks, Listen To Notes every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
