# LazyLanguages vs DuoCards

The clearest difference is rating: DuoCards at 4.7 against LazyLanguages's 3.7. DuoCards also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 10). LazyLanguages's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (78% vs 63%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LazyLanguages sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and DuoCards sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DuoCards holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DuoCards has 1.4K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of LazyLanguages's written reviews are positive against 63% of DuoCards's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LazyLanguages ships an update every 2 weeks, DuoCards monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
