# jetski.io vs The Nom

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: jetski.io at none against The Nom's 10. jetski.io also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 14.0). The Nom's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (24K vs 12). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Nom sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. jetski.io asks for nothing beyond the download.

The Nom holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Nom has 24K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of jetski.io's written reviews are positive against 48% of The Nom's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

jetski.io ships an update fortnightly, The Nom weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
