# Fishing Knots + vs SmarTemp 3.0

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Fishing Knots + at 100% against SmarTemp 3.0's 18%. SmarTemp 3.0's advantage is rating (3.3 vs 2.3) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 9 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SmarTemp 3.0 holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 2.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Fishing Knots +'s written reviews are positive against 18% of SmarTemp 3.0's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fishing Knots + ships an update every 9 months, SmarTemp 3.0 every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
