# Q2app vs Buddy Workforce

The clearest difference is update cadence: Buddy Workforce at every 6 weeks against Q2app's every 10 months. Q2app's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Q2app ships an update every 10 months, Buddy Workforce every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
