# Hotstudio vs NEWFIT

The clearest difference is rating: Hotstudio at 5.0 against NEWFIT's 4.0. Hotstudio also leads on ratings volume (6 vs 1). NEWFIT's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 75%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hotstudio holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hotstudio has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Hotstudio's written reviews are positive against 100% of NEWFIT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hotstudio ships an update every 4 months, NEWFIT every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
