# Sign & Export vs PDF Editor

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Sign & Export at none against PDF Editor's 10. Sign & Export also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). PDF Editor's advantage is review sentiment (43% vs 11%) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 39 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDF Editor sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Sign & Export asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sign & Export holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PDF Editor has 189 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of Sign & Export's written reviews are positive against 43% of PDF Editor's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sign & Export ships an update every 39 months, PDF Editor every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
