# iReadernovel vs TaleWave

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TaleWave at 25% against iReadernovel's 10%. TaleWave also leads on rating (3.8 vs 3.6) and ratings volume (85 vs 7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iReadernovel sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and TaleWave sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $0.29 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TaleWave holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TaleWave has 85 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 10% of iReadernovel's written reviews are positive against 25% of TaleWave's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
