# Craft vs Motif

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Craft at 6.6K against Motif's 1. Craft also leads on device support (4 vs 2). Motif's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Craft sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Motif sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Motif holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Craft has 6.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of Craft's written reviews are positive against 78% of Motif's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Craft ships an update every 11 days, Motif every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
