# Craft vs Ace Calc

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Craft at 6.6K against Ace Calc's 2. Craft also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly). Ace Calc's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Craft sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Ace Calc sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ace Calc holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Craft has 6.6K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Craft ships an update every 10 days, Ace Calc monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
