# Educalingo vs DuoCards

The clearest difference is price: DuoCards at Free against Educalingo's $11.99. DuoCards also leads on rating (4.7 vs 3.5) and ratings volume (1.4K vs 4). Educalingo's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 11) and ads (none vs shown). On review sentiment, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

DuoCards is free to download; Educalingo costs $11.99 up front. DuoCards sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Educalingo asks for nothing beyond the download.

DuoCards holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DuoCards has 1.4K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Educalingo's written reviews are positive against 63% of DuoCards's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Educalingo ships an update every 3 weeks, DuoCards monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
