# Houzz Pro vs RocketPlan

The clearest difference is rating: Houzz Pro at 4.6 against RocketPlan's 3.1. Houzz Pro also leads on ratings volume (5K vs 8) and chart position (#170 vs unranked). RocketPlan's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 15) and review sentiment (50% vs 20%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Houzz Pro sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $39.99 per month. RocketPlan asks for nothing beyond the download.

Houzz Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Houzz Pro has 5K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Houzz Pro's written reviews are positive against 50% of RocketPlan's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Houzz Pro ships an update weekly, RocketPlan every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
