# Houzz Pro vs Pro Contractor List

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Pro Contractor List at none against Houzz Pro's 15. Pro Contractor List also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). Houzz Pro's advantage is ratings volume (5K vs 1) and chart position (#149 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Houzz Pro sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $39.99 per month. Pro Contractor List asks for nothing beyond the download.

Pro Contractor List holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Houzz Pro has 5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
