# Apretaste vs XUBE

The clearest difference is rating: XUBE at 5.0 against Apretaste's 3.6. XUBE also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 4 months). Apretaste's advantage is ratings volume (23 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

XUBE holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Apretaste has 23 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Apretaste ships an update every 4 months, XUBE every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
