# Aroraboll vs BackSlap

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Aroraboll at none against BackSlap's 1. Aroraboll also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). BackSlap's advantage is ratings volume (71 vs 2) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 4 weeks). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BackSlap sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Aroraboll asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Aroraboll against 4.6 for BackSlap. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BackSlap has 71 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Aroraboll ships an update every 4 weeks, BackSlap every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
