# APECS vs RoundLog

The clearest difference is rating: RoundLog at 5.0 against APECS's 1.7. RoundLog also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). APECS's advantage is ratings volume (7 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. APECS sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month and RoundLog sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RoundLog holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: APECS has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

APECS ships an update monthly, RoundLog every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
