# Mention la vs BePTT

The clearest difference is rating: Mention la at 5.0 against BePTT's 2.9. Mention la also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 15.0). BePTT's advantage is ratings volume (25 vs 5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mention la sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and BePTT sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mention la holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BePTT has 25 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mention la ships an update every 9 days, BePTT every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
