# VPN Sense vs What's App

The clearest difference is review sentiment: What's App at 100% against VPN Sense's 53%. What's App also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.4). VPN Sense's advantage is ratings volume (405 vs 7) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Sense sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and What's App sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

What's App holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN Sense has 405 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 53% of VPN Sense's written reviews are positive against 100% of What's App's.

VPN Sense ships an update fortnightly, What's App every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
