# VPN Sense vs Super VPN

The clearest difference is ads: VPN Sense at none against Super VPN's shown. VPN Sense also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (405 vs 51). Super VPN's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 53%). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Sense sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Super VPN sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for VPN Sense against 4.4 for Super VPN. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN Sense has 405 ratings behind it against 51, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 53% of VPN Sense's written reviews are positive against 75% of Super VPN's.

VPN Sense ships an update fortnightly, Super VPN every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
