# KON SECURE vs Freedom Search

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Freedom Search at none against KON SECURE's 1. Freedom Search also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. KON SECURE sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Freedom Search asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for KON SECURE against 5.0 for Freedom Search. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Freedom Search has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
