# KON SECURE vs Private Browser

The clearest difference is update cadence: Private Browser at every 2 weeks against KON SECURE's every 6 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. KON SECURE sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Private Browser sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

KON SECURE ships an update every 6 months, Private Browser every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
