# Jazz Drummer vs Oscidia

The clearest difference is rating: Oscidia at 5.0 against Jazz Drummer's 4.7. Oscidia also leads on price ($14.99 vs $17.99). Jazz Drummer's advantage is ratings volume (268 vs 12) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On review sentiment, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Jazz Drummer costs $17.99 and Oscidia $14.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Oscidia holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Jazz Drummer has 268 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 94% of Jazz Drummer's written reviews are positive against 88% of Oscidia's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
