# GettyGuide vs PCM Connect

The clearest difference is rating: GettyGuide at 4.2 against PCM Connect's 3.5. GettyGuide also leads on ratings volume (43 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 16.4). PCM Connect's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GettyGuide holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GettyGuide has 43 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

GettyGuide ships an update every 2 months, PCM Connect weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
