# MotionLight Pro vs Velo Dash

The clearest difference is update cadence: MotionLight Pro at every 3 days against Velo Dash's every 2 weeks. Velo Dash's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MotionLight Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Velo Dash sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MotionLight Pro ships an update every 3 days, Velo Dash every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
