# eventmate vs Nova Post

The clearest difference is review sentiment: eventmate at 89% against Nova Post's 29%. Nova Post's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (1.4K vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Nova Post holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nova Post has 1.4K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of eventmate's written reviews are positive against 29% of Nova Post's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

eventmate ships an update fortnightly, Nova Post every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
