# GoalTrail vs Focus

The clearest difference is update cadence: Focus at every 5 days against GoalTrail's every 2 weeks. GoalTrail's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GoalTrail sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Focus sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GoalTrail ships an update every 2 weeks, Focus every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
