# Mudflap vs FastForm

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Mudflap at 4.6K against FastForm's 1. Mudflap also leads on chart position (#38 vs unranked). FastForm's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FastForm holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mudflap has 4.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mudflap ships an update every 2 weeks, FastForm every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
