# NBA Events vs D

The clearest difference is rating: D at 4.7 against NBA Events's 3.1. D also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). NBA Events's advantage is ratings volume (43 vs 3). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

D holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NBA Events has 43 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
