# Operator 3D vs Sausage Dogs

The clearest difference is rating: Sausage Dogs at 4.5 against Operator 3D's 4.0. Sausage Dogs also leads on ratings volume (3.6K vs 5). Operator 3D's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sausage Dogs sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Operator 3D asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sausage Dogs holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sausage Dogs has 3.6K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Operator 3D's written reviews are positive against 45% of Sausage Dogs's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Operator 3D ships an update every 5 days, Sausage Dogs every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
