# InBackground vs PlayListic

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PlayListic at 100% against InBackground's 55%. PlayListic also leads on rating (4.7 vs 3.8) and update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months). InBackground's advantage is ratings volume (446 vs 53) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. InBackground sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and PlayListic sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
