# Neuro Train vs NBack

The clearest difference is ads: NBack at none against Neuro Train's shown. Neuro Train's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neuro Train sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $10.00 per month and NBack sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Neuro Train against 5.0 for NBack. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Neuro Train has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
