# PDF Scanner vs CareerMax

The clearest difference is ads: CareerMax at none against PDF Scanner's shown. CareerMax also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 71%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDF Scanner sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and CareerMax sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
