# Pastel Friends vs Cleave

The clearest difference is update cadence: Cleave at weekly against Pastel Friends's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pastel Friends sells 13 one-off in-app purchases and Cleave sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pastel Friends ships an update every 2 months, Cleave weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
