# Vengeance78 vs Scarce

The clearest difference is update cadence: Vengeance78 at fortnightly against Scarce's every 10 months. Vengeance78 also leads on ratings volume (787 vs 106). Scarce's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Vengeance78 against 4.8 for Scarce. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vengeance78 has 787 ratings behind it against 106, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 74% of Vengeance78's written reviews are positive against 75% of Scarce's.

Vengeance78 ships an update fortnightly, Scarce every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
