# hvv switch vs AIDA

The clearest difference is rating: hvv switch at 4.4 against AIDA's 1.0. hvv switch also leads on ratings volume (792 vs 3). AIDA's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

hvv switch holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: hvv switch has 792 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of hvv switch's written reviews are positive against 30% of AIDA's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

hvv switch ships an update every 2 months, AIDA weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
