# El Califa vs Manka

The clearest difference is ratings volume: El Califa at 110 against Manka's 2. Manka's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Manka holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: El Califa has 110 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of El Califa's written reviews are positive against 60% of Manka's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

El Califa ships an update every 2 months, Manka every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
