# Playland! vs Hyper Roller Coaster

The clearest difference is rating: Hyper Roller Coaster at 4.6 against Playland!'s 3.9. Hyper Roller Coaster also leads on ratings volume (16K vs 8). Playland!'s advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hyper Roller Coaster sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Playland! asks for nothing beyond the download.

Hyper Roller Coaster holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hyper Roller Coaster has 16K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Playland!'s written reviews are positive against 38% of Hyper Roller Coaster's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Playland! ships an update fortnightly, Hyper Roller Coaster every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
